Haidy Elkasaby

Vice General Coordinator at World Youth Forum

Haidy Elkasaby is a professional diplomat currently serving at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt since January 2024. Concurrently, Haidy holds a position as a researcher at the Egyptian Center For Strategic Studies and as Vice General Coordinator at the World Youth Forum, both roles initiated in March and December 2022, respectively. Additionally, Haidy is a certified trainer in Sustainable Development at the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development since March 2021. Previous experience includes volunteering with UN Climate Change in November 2022, organizing at the COP27 - UN Climate Change Conference from October to November 2022, and serving as President and cofounder of the Youth for Sustainable Development Club from April 2020 to September 2021. An internship at the League of Arab States - General Secretariat occurred in the summer of 2019. Haidy's educational background includes ongoing studies in the Presidential Leadership Program at the National Training Academy and a Master's degree in International Political Economy at Cairo University, alongside prior education at The British University in Egypt.
