Hatem Metwally

Hatem Metwally has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Hatem started their career as a Retail Agent at FedEx Express in 2009 and then worked as a Customer Care Representative at NEXTCARE in 2011. In 2012, they joined TE-Data as a Sales & Customer Service Representative. Hatem then transitioned to a Financial Planner & Analyst role at Cairo International Airport (Cairo Airport Company) in 2013, where they were responsible for strategic planning. In 2017, Hatem took on the role of Strategic Planning Section Head at Tharwa Petroleum S.A.E. where they developed the company's strategic plan and supervised assessment processes. Also in 2017, they became the Head of Operations at World Youth Forum. Hatem's most recent role was as the Head of Central Operations Unit for Host Country at COP27, where they led the operations of the climate change conference.

From 2021 to 2022, they attended Pearson College London and received a Level 7 Pearson BTEC Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership.

In 2014 to 2015, they studied at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, obtaining a Diploma in Leadership & Business Administration.

In 2022, they participated in the Oil & Gas Middle Management Development Program at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General.

In 2021, they completed the Anti-Corruption and Governance Program at the National Anti-Corruption Academy, specializing in Public Administration.

From 2016 to 2017, they participated in the Presidential Leadership Program (PLP), where they engaged in Leadership & Experiential Learning activities.

In 2016, they completed the National Security and Strategy Program at the Nasser Higher Military Academy, concentrating on International Relations and National Security Studies.

Lastly, from 2007 to 2011, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Ain Shams University.
