Mariano Sommer (Mono)

Mariano (Mono) Sommer has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Mariano (Mono) is currently the Head of the Leadership Development Unit - Diaspora Department at the World Zionist Organization since October 2021. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at the Betar Movement, including Head of Education from June 2018 to December 2021, and Head of South America Desk from September 2016 to December 2021. In 2019, they worked as a Project Coordinator at Israel Sheli, where they managed the Infuencers program aimed at creating projects to influence Israeli society and address the Arab-Israeli conflict. Mariano (Mono) also served as the Spanish New Media Manager at the Israel Defense Forces from October 2014 to October 2016.

Mariano (Mono) Sommer pursued their education by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Tel Aviv University between the years 2011 and 2014. Later, they pursued further studies and completed a Master's degree in Political Communication at Bar-Ilan University from 2016 to 2017.
