Peter McAree

Peter McAree serves as the Senior Vice President and CFO at HeartWare Inc since July 2012. Prior to this role, Peter held the position of Senior Vice President and CFO at Caliper Life Sciences from November 2000 until its acquisition by PerkinElmer, Inc. in November 2011. Peter's earlier career includes serving as President at Elcom Systems, and holding key financial roles at Elcom International and as CFO of Geerlings & Wade, Inc. Peter began a strong foundation in finance at Arthur Andersen LLP, where Peter was a Senior Manager from 1986 to 1995. Peter holds a BS in Accounting from Bentley University, earned between 1982 and 1986.
