Maxime Romain

Maxime Romain is a seasoned Data Privacy and Ethics Expert at BNP Paribas Fortis since January 2022, while also serving as a Privacy Consultant and Mentor at CRANIUM since December 2019. Previous roles include Privacy Project Manager at Medtronic and Data Protection Associate as an External Consultant at Galapagos. Maxime has experience in privacy and data protection consulting, having worked as a Junior Consultant at DATADVISE, and as a legal advisor for HelloLaw in both the Netherlands and Belgium. Early career experiences include administrative support at Synlab and a fixed-term contract as a Greffier assistant at FOD Justitie SPF Justice. Maxime holds a Data Protection Officer Certification and a Master of Laws in European Law from Maastricht University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Law from HELMo.
