Alex Ospina

Alex Ospina has been working in the software development field since 2005. Alex started their career at IP Total Software as a Software Developer, where they gained experience working with clients and teams. In 2006, they moved to Assenda S.A., where they worked on building an application for government to show reports and analyze large amounts of information. In 2009, they joined Axede as a Software Developer, where they learned about Javascript frameworks. In 2010, they became a System Analyst at Premize S.A.S. and in 2011, they became a Senior Software Developer at Jaime Torres C y Cía S.A. In 2013, they were promoted to Lead Software Developer at Yuxi Pacific and in 2014, they began working as a Full-stack Developer at Upwork, where they became one of the top rated developers. In 2019, they started working as a Software Developer at Higg.

Alex Ospina has a diverse educational background. Alex obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Santiago de Cali between 2000 and 2008. Alex then pursued a degree in Enterprise application on JEE from Universidad de San Buenaventura in 2009. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including IBM Blockchain Foundation for Developers from Coursera in August 2018, Web Application Architectures from Coursera Verified Certificates in April 2015, Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer from Oracle in July 2010, Data Science Orientation from Microsoft Advanced Analytics in January 2017, and Certificated ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in November 2011.
