Charles Landy

Charles Landy has worked in the web content and copywriting industry since 2006. From 2006 to 2014, they worked as a Design & Marketing Assistant at Datacolor, where they were responsible for web & graphic design, website renovation and maintenance, copy writing for online and print advertisements, design, creation and implementation of marketing materials, professional assistance to lead designer and marketing department, document scanning, recording and filing, and design and creation of annual company calendar for international distribution.

In 2014, Charles began working as a Freelance Copywriter/Copy Editor/Web Producer, creating original copy, content revising and editing, and cultivating and maintaining creative copy for websites, web & graphic design, marketing videos, promotional materials, and all associated B2C content. Charles also worked as a Web Copywriter for Bright and Shiny, creating original and revised web content, copy revision and editing, website renovation and maintenance, professional and administrative assistance to development, creative and QC staff.

In 2015, Charles began working for Optimus Outcome as a Copywriter/Web Producer, creating original and revised web content, copy revision and editing, website renovation and maintenance, and creative and QC staff.

Since 2019, Charles has been working as a Web Content Manager for Higg, playing a key role in site renovation and redesign, fielding daily website updates and content requests from multiple in-house teams, creating pages, landing pages, content edits & requests, section renovations, & media uploads, communicating with project managers, teams and team members via Slack, Zoom, Asana and Jira, implementing translations of key site content into multiple languages, maintaining site calendar with upcoming events, video webinars, and key information, and posting press releases and announcements for Marketing department. Charles also maintained internal site structure and organization.

Charles Landy completed their high school education at Redondo Union High School in 1991 with a High School Diploma in General Education. Charles then attended Mercer County Community College from 2006 to 2009, completing a Web and Graphic Design Certificate Program. Finally, they attended DeVry University from 2015 to 2019, earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies.
