Byungjoon Ko

Byungjoon Ko has extensive experience in quantitative research and finance, currently serving as Vice President and Senior Quant Researcher at WorldQuant since December 2017. Previously, Byungjoon held the position of Senior Researcher at 디셈버앤컴퍼니자산운용, where research focused on deep learning applications for financial data and the development of a Global Asset Allocation Engine. Byungjoon also managed the EPA Team at KoreaPDS, providing analysis in energy markets, and completed internships at Standard Chartered Bank and the National Institute for Mathematical Sciences. Byungjoon holds a Master of Engineering in Management Engineering (Finance) and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, along with participation in an exchange program at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
