Dang van Truong

Dang Van Truong is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and engineering. Currently serving as Vice President, Research at WorldQuant since June 2016, Dang focuses on developing mathematical models to predict equity prices across various stock markets, while analyzing fundamental and analyst datasets. Prior experience includes roles as a Structural Engineer at BiTek Construction, where Dang designed reinforced concrete and steel structures, and as a CAD Designer and Researcher in various engineering departments, contributing to projects through modeling and data analysis. Dang holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Moscow State Automobile and Road Technical Institute and has published five scientific papers in prominent engineering journals. Educational credentials also include a diploma in Bridge and Transport Tunnel Design from the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction University and prior studies in Road Construction at the University of Transport and Communications in Vietnam.
