Jun Kyu Jeong

Jun Kyu Jeong is an experienced quantitative researcher currently serving as Vice President Researcher at WorldQuant since July 2018, with previous roles as Senior Quantitative Researcher and Quantitative Researcher. Jun Kyu Jeong specializes in developing equity investment models based on statistical arbitrage, utilizing machine learning and natural language processing to convert text data into alpha. Prior to this, Jun Kyu Jeong worked as a Websim Researcher, focusing on mathematical stock predictive model development and knowledge sharing related to alpha creation. Jun Kyu Jeong also has experience as a Research Assistant at Meritz Securities Co., Ltd. and holds a Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics from Pohang University of Science and Technology, completed in 2018.
