Francisco Hernandez

Francisco Hernandez has worked in various roles across several companies since 2006. Francisco began their career as an Assistant Professor at the Universitat de Barcelona in 2006. In 2008, they became the Promoter of the XaRMAE at Fundació Bosch i Gimpera and a Scientific Advisor at NTEC106, SL. In 2009, they were the Head of Research Management at IREC and the Chief Technology Officer at ELECTRONIC NANOSYSTEMS SL. In 2017, they held three roles at Worldsensing as Director of Legal & Compliance, Head of Legal Affairs & DPO, and EU Project Manager. In 2018, they were the DPO at WORLDSENSING LIMITED, and in 2019 they became the DPO at Cobugs.io.

Francisco Hernandez has a diverse educational background. Francisco obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universitat de Barcelona in 1999-2003, followed by a DEA in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same university in 2003-2005. Francisco then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from Universitat de Barcelona in 2003-2007. After completing their Ph.D., they earned a Master's degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from Universitat de Barcelona in 2007. Francisco also obtained a Master's degree in Economic-Financial Management from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2007. Lastly, they earned a Master's degree in Cibersecurity from CEUPE - Centro Europeo de Postgrado y Empresa in 2020-2021. Additionally, they hold certifications in Auditor Interno ISO 27001 from TÜV NORD GROUP and ISO 37301:2021 Compliance from INTEDYA (International Dynamic Advisors).
