Ignasi Garcia-Milà Vidal

Innovation Project Manager at Worldsensing

Ignasi Garcia-Milà Vidal has had a varied career, beginning in 2002 as an IT Technician for ASPACE. In 2008, they took on the role of Technical Manager for CVI - Centre de Vida Independent. In 2009, they became the EU Project Manager for TicSalut Foundation, where they were responsible for the technical and administrative management of co-funded projects by the European Commission and was the project coordinator of Unwired Health. In 2016, they took on the role of ICT Projects Coordinator for Eurecat - Centro Tecnológico de Catalunya. In 2018, they became the IoT Innovation Project Manager for hardware and software at the Product department of Worldsensing, where they were responsible for ideation, concept development, prototyping, test and validation of innovative developments for products and solutions. In 2019, they became an Associate Professor at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.

Ignasi Garcia-Milà Vidal has a Bachelor in Computer Systems Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, obtained between 1999 and 2006. Ignasi also has an Interdisciplinary Master in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, obtained between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, they have obtained a Product Focus Certified Product Manager from Product Focus in October 2022, an AgilePM® Practitioner from APMG International in October 2019, and a Konnex Partner from KONNEX ASSOCIATION.
