Declan Allen

Declan Allen is an experienced professional in logistics and supply chain management. Currently serving as Skills Competition Manager for Logistics & Freight Forwarding and Chief Expert at WorldSkills International since August 2019, Declan also holds a prominent academic role as Head of Logistics Supply Chain and Project Management at Technological University Dublin, a position maintained since January 1990. Additional roles at the same institution include Assistant Head of the School of Management and Lecturer in various departments. Since January 2019, Declan has contributed as a Logistics and Freight Forwarding Expert for World Skills Ireland. Declan's academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Business Administration from Grenoble Ecole de Management, a Postgraduate Certificate in Third Level Learning & Teaching from Technological University Dublin, and a Master of Business Studies in Business Logistics and Manufacturing Strategy from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies from the University of South Wales.
