Paul Jenkins

General Counsel at WorldStrides

As general counsel, Paul Jenkins is the chief legal officer of WorldStrides. His wide-ranging portfolio of responsibilities includes supervising legal matters regarding global acquisition growth, managing the organization’s risks, and coordinating on daily legal matters with every part of organization.

Paul began his legal career as an active duty Judge Advocate in the US Navy JAG Corps, with a wide range of assignments including in the Office of Legal Counsel at the United States Naval Academy and as a prosecutor in the Office of Military Commissions, involved in the prosecution of high profile terrorists. In private life, Paul went on to work at a large multi-national firm, a smaller regional firm, and then as Director of Operations for the Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership at Mary Baldwin University where he oversaw co-curricular and military instructional components of the program. Today, he continues to proudly serve as a commissioned officer in the US Navy JAG Corps Reserves.

Paul earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism at James Madison University, his JD at Catholic University, and his LLM at George Washington University. He lives in Charlottesville with his wife and two daughters.
