Anne Baird

Anne Baird is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Director at WCS (Worldwide Chain Stores) since May 2025. Prior to this role, Anne held positions including Senior Finance Manager at The Bar of Northern Ireland, and Company Accountant at both Telefónica Tech and Novosco. With a background in assurance management at EY and extensive teaching experience as a CIMA/ACCA lecturer at Belfast Metropolitan College, Anne has developed a diverse skill set in financial management. Additionally, roles such as Director of Finance at MindWise New Vision and Project Accountant at SHS Group complement a career that began at Ernst & Young as an Assistant Audit Manager. Anne holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a BSc in Biochemistry from Queen's University Belfast, alongside additional training from Boston University in business management.
