Mark Berner

Mark Berner is an experienced aviation safety and security executive with a strong background in regulatory compliance and emergency response. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment for Worldwide Flight Services since February 2020, Mark oversees employee safety, security audits, and compliance for a global ground handling company. Previous roles include Director of Aviation Safety at Executive Jet Management and Vice President of Safety and Security at Southern Air Inc., where impactful safety performance improvements were achieved. Mark's extensive experience in safety and operational roles spans several organizations, including Comair, Inc and Co-op Aircraft Services. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology and Operations from Western Michigan University and completed a certificate program in Aviation Safety at George Washington University.
