Cristina Carl is the director of Worldwide Internships Philippines. She graduated from Yale University in 2000 and later decided to pursue a career in hospitality, attending the Institute of Culinary Education.These educational experiences gave her the opportunity to work in various roles in restaurants in New York City, such as Chicama,LeBernardin, and Asia de Cuba. One major challenge that came from her specialization was to create her own beverage program at a boutique hotel chain in Puerto Rico as Food and Beverage Director, which led her to become involved in international internships. In addition to these accomplishments, she is also accredited as a Small Luxury Hotel and Relais Chateaux and is certified at the advanced level of the Court of Master Sommelier Program.

I think my duality feels incongruous to others. I am easy going but a perfectionist, I encourage balance but I work all the time, I can take a while to mull over decisions but act swiftly as well.
