Yuan Gao

Yuan Gao has a diverse and extensive work experience. They are currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Worldwide Webb since 2021. In 2019, Yuan Gao joined Hummingbird Technologies Ltd as the Chief Technology Officer, later transitioning to the role of Advisor in 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Xihelm as a Software Engineering Manager from 2018 to 2019.

Yuan Gao's notable achievements include co-founding Mavrx Inc. in 2012, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer and played a crucial role in its growth as a prominent name in Ag-tech. Their responsibilities at Mavrx involved leading the development of various technologies, such as camera control PCBs, aerial imaging payload, image processing and computer vision algorithms, and automation for edge nodes. During their tenure, they successfully navigated the company through testing, pivoting, and re-focusing, while efficiently managing a lean team.

Prior to Mavrx Inc., Yuan Gao worked as a Contract Engineer at McLaren Automotive Ltd in 2011, and as the Director and Co-Founder of Universal Air Ltd. from 2011 to 2012. They also served as a KTP Associate at Morgan Motor Company Ltd. from 2010 to 2011.

Additionally, Yuan Gao is an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council, an elite organization for senior-level technology executives, joining in 2017. They were hand-selected by the Council's selection committee.
