Tommy Wilken is the Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Zoo Consultants, a position held since October 2010, where leadership focuses on the creation and management of specialized animal facilities globally. Previous experience includes serving as Managing Partner at zoOceanarium Group, directing operations for innovative aquarium and zoological facilities from April 2012 to December 2020, and acting as Director at Zoological Consultancy Worldwide from March 2010 to July 2016. Tommy Wilken has also held roles such as Director of Projects at Nito Group, Marine Mammal Specialist at Dubai Dolphinarium, member of the pre-opening team at Kerzner International, and Animal Behaviourist at uShaka Marine World. An educational background in Ethology and Animal Behaviour includes studies at Durban North College and the University of Pretoria from 1998 to 2002.
