The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT) is the 100th Livery Company of the City of London. Like all Livery companies, we aim to give something back to our industry and to our community. We focus on four pillars of activity:-

Charity – we raise money and use the IT skills of our members to improve the lives of those who are disadvantaged in society.

Education – our members promote career opportunities in the IT sector. WCIT jointly sponsored Hammersmith Academy with the Mercers and we also support the Lilian Baylis Technology School. 

Industry and Commerce – we encourage debate and awareness about significant IT issues as well as promoting the importance of IT in society today.

Fellowship – where, simply, we have a full programme of social activity. These range from lectures and seminars, visits to places of interest, informal drinks through to lunches and dinners in some of the finest venues in the City.

The Historical Titles team at the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists is responsible for preserving and sharing the rich heritage and traditions associated with the organization's various titles and roles. This team curates archival materials, organizes events that celebrate the company's history, and educates members and the public about the significance of the titles within the context of the IT industry.
