John Beets

John Beets has a diverse work experience in various IT roles. John started their career as an Electrician at Elmers Elektrotechniek in 2005. In 2007, they joined K-Swiss as a System Administrator and also completed two IT internships there. John then worked as an IT Engineer at BSH Home Appliances and Neomax in 2011. From 2012 to 2014, John worked as a System Administrator at Travix, where they managed infrastructure and website hosting for multiple brands. In 2014, they had roles as a System Administrator at UNIT4 Group and Robidus, and as a Server Administrator at Academic Medical Center (AMC). In 2014, they also started working as a System Administrator at InWork B.V., where they provided temporary support for companies like Unit 4, Robidus HR, and AMC. Since 2015, John has been working at Wortell, starting as an Engineer and gradually moving up to Senior Engineer, OR lid, and Product Delivery Manager Cloud. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Services.

John Beets began their education in 2002 at Technisch College Velsen, where they studied Electrical Technician until 2006. John then attended ROC Nova College from 2006 to 2008, majoring in Information Technology. Following that, they continued their education at ROC Nova College from 2008 to 2010, specializing in System/Network Administration. Finally, in 2010 to 2011, they studied Information Technology at Inholland University of Applied Sciences.

In terms of additional certifications, John Beets obtained the following: Bootcamp Instructeur from AALO opleidingen | Fitness & Health in February 2023, Bedrijfshulpverlener incl AED from Chubb Fire & Security - NL in September 2020, and Bedrijfshulpverlener from Medprevent in April 2017. Additionally, they have certifications from Cisco, Microsoft (MCITP, MCSA, and MCTS), and ITIL University (ITIL: The Apollo 13 ITIL® Simulation), though specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
