Ruben Hentzschel

Ruben Hentzschel's work experience includes roles at various companies. Ruben currently serves as an Advisory Board Member at Carolina Code School, where they mentor individuals in becoming professional programmers. Prior to this, they worked at Worthwhile as a COO and Vice President, Client Solutions, where they were responsible for setting the vision for software development and production teams. Ruben also worked at Follett School Solutions as a Vice President, overseeing product management and business development. At Follett Software Company, they held the position of Vice President, TetraData Business Operations, where they successfully transitioned an unprofitable custom K-12 data warehouse solution into a profitable business. Additionally, they served as the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer at Forderband, Inc., where they reversed an unprofitable business into a profitable operation. Their earlier experience includes working as a Product Manager at i:FAO, where they designed and brought a managed business travel solution to market.

Ruben Hentzschel received their high school education from Dr. Kurt Schumacher Schule, Reinheim, Germany, from 1984 to 1990. After completing high school, they attended Martin-Behaim-Schule Darmstadt from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a CIC certification in Economics.

Additionally, Ruben Hentzschel obtained the Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certification from IBM in November 2018.
