Anja Bassey-Neef

Anja Bassey-Neef has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Anja started their career as an intern at Université Paris Descartes in 2010 and then went on to complete another internship at Zentrum für klinische Ernährung Stuttgart (ZKES) in 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Graduate Student at the Metabolic Unit (Universität Hohenheim).

From 2012 to 2016, Anja held the position of Manager Nutrition Science at BENEO. Following that, they joined BioTeSys GmbH for an internship in 2012. In 2016, Anja joined Wörwag Pharma GmbH & Co. KG as a Medical Manager and then progressed to the role of Senior Medical Manager in 2018. Anja later became the Teamlead Global Medical Management in October 2020 and eventually transitioned to the role of Head of Global Medical Management in March 2021.

Anja Bassey-Neef pursued their education at Gymnasium Eppingen from 1996 to 2005 and obtained their Abitur degree. During this period, they had a focus on Chemistry, Physics, French, Maths, and German. Following their completion at Gymnasium Eppingen, Anja attended the University of Hohenheim from 2005 to 2012. Here, they achieved a Diploma in Nutrition Science.
