Susanne Schmidt

Susanne Schmidt has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Susanne currently holds the position of Director of Business Development at Wörwag Pharma GmbH & Co. KG. Prior to this, they worked as the Alliance and Portfolio Management Director at Prestige BioPharma Ltd. Susanne also served as the Commercial PMO Manager at Riemser Pharma (part of Esteve group), where they were responsible for overseeing and coordinating key commercial projects.

Before Riemser Pharma, Susanne held various roles at Pfizer, including Senior Director of International Business Development, Director of Business Development Established Products, Director of Business Development, and Director of New Product Commercialization. Susanne also had experience in new product development during their time at Pfizer.

Throughout their career, Susanne has demonstrated expertise in business development, alliance management, in-licensing of late-stage opportunities, and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.

Susanne Schmidt obtained their general qualification for university entrance from St. Leonhard between 1972 and 1981. Susanne then pursued a Master's degree in Biology, General from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1983 to 1987. Following that, they attended the University of Heidelberg where they obtained their PhD in Medicine from 1989 to 1997.
