Lori Gonzalez currently serves as the President of Ohio University, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Lori held several significant roles at the University of Louisville, including Executive Vice President and University Provost, Interim President, and Special Assistant to the President from March 2021 until July 2023. Prior to this, Lori served as Special Advisor to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of North Carolina General Administration and as Provost & Executive Vice Chancellor at Appalachian State University. Lori's academic career began as Dean at the University of Kentucky, where service lasted approximately two decades. Lori holds a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences & Disorders from the University of Florida, a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Eastern Kentucky University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Kentucky.
