Kim Deer has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Kim started their career as a Project Coordinator at Florida State College at Jacksonville in August 2010 and held the role for nearly eight years. In April 2018, they transitioned to the position of Digital Communications Specialist, where they were responsible for designing and developing the college's external website and supporting digital products. In July 2018, they were promoted to the role of Marketing Communications Manager, where they managed and organized the college's marketing communications operations. This included overseeing television and radio production, media communications, web marketing, print advertising, and publications. During their time at the college, they also maintained and managed internal and external client relationships and specialty communications. In 2022, Kim Deer joined Wounded Warrior Project as a Marketing Specialist.
Kim Deer has a Master of Science degree in Interactive Technology and Communication from The University of Alabama. They also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Florida State College at Jacksonville. In addition to their formal education, Kim has obtained several certifications including the Google Ads Display Certification and Google Ads Search Certification from Google Ads. They also hold a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
