Alana Ohno

Alana Ohno has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Alana started their career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington Computer Science Department in 2013. Alana later interned as a Software Engineering Intern at Amazon in the same year. In 2014, they joined Amazon as a Software Engineer 1 in the Amazon Maps team, and then progressed to the role of Software Engineer 2 in both Amazon Maps and Amazon Rentals from 2015 to 2018.

In 2018, Alana joined CARMERA as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to building high-definition maps for autonomous vehicles using machine vision and geospatial data analysis. Alana then transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer in 2020 and eventually became a Senior Product Manager in 2021. At CARMERA, they worked on maintaining a real-time, street-level intelligence platform and managing a vehicular sensor network.

Currently, Alana works at Woven by Toyota as a Product Manager. Alana initially joined as a Senior Product Manager in 2022 and was later promoted to the role of Staff Product Manager in 2023. With their strong background in software engineering and product management, Alana brings a diverse skill set and expertise to their roles.

Alana Ohno attended the American School In Japan from 2007 to 2010. Alana then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Washington from 2010 to 2014.
