Alexey Geraskin

Alexey Geraskin has a diverse and extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Alexey recently joined Woven by Toyota as a Senior Software Engineer in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Kaspersky Lab as a Software Architect from December 2020 to September 2022. Alexey also worked at Huawei as a Software Development Engineer from August 2020 to November 2020. Before their time at Huawei, they held the position of Sr. Software Developer at Align Technology from February 2016 to August 2020. Alexey also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at ETH Zurich from February 2014 to January 2016. Alexey's work experience includes a postdoctoral role at The University of Tokyo where they participated in various projects, such as the "Normal Oceanic Mantle Project," and gained experience in HPC programming, MPI, OpenMP, and OpenGL. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Software Developer at Nord-West Ltd from June 2006 to October 2011.

Alexey Geraskin completed their education as follows:

From 1999 to 2002, they attended the Lyceum of Informational Technologies (LIT 1533), where they received a degree of the programmer - laboratory technician. Their field of study was Information Technologies (IT).

From 2002 to 2007, they pursued a Master's degree in Applied mathematics and information technologies at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU).

Later, from 2007 to 2011, Alexey attended Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) once again, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Geophysics.
