Beichun Qi

Beichun Qi has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of machine learning, robotics, and research. Their most recent role is as a Machine Learning Engineer at Woven by Toyota. Prior to this, they worked as a Robotics Researcher at Columbia Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR) Lab from 2020 to 2022. They also have experience as a Robotics Engineer at Monogram Orthopedics, Inc in 2019. Additionally, Beichun Qi has worked as a Research Assistant at the Robotics And Rehabilitation (RoAR) Lab and the RObotics and Rehabilitation (ROAR) Laboratory, both at Columbia University, in 2019 and 2018 respectively. Earlier in their career, they held positions as a Research Staff at Wuhan University of Technology in 2016 and as a Manufacturing Process Management Intern at China Space Sanjiang Group Co. in 2016.

Beichun Qi earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. In 2017, they also participated in the Perspectives in the Humanities Program at UC Berkeley Extension. Later on, Beichun pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University from 2018 to 2019. Continuing their academic journey, they then completed a Master of Science in Computer Science at Columbia University from 2020 to 2021.
