Mike Sudano

Mike Sudano has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and mechanical engineering. Mike is currently working as a Senior Robotics Operations Engineer at Woven by Toyota since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Toyota Research Institute as a Robotics Operations Engineer from December 2018 to February 2021, and as a Member Of Technical Staff from December 2016 to December 2018.

Before joining Toyota, Mike worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Electric Movement @ Google from August 2015 to August 2016. Mike also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at MatterFab from October 2014 to July 2015.

Mike's career started in the field of robotics as a Robotics Engineer at Kawasaki Robotics (USA), Inc. from January 2011 to May 2014. Mike gained independent contracting experience at Aniteal Laboratories, LLC from October 2008 to December 2010 and at Atair Aerospace from January 2010 to March 2010.

Additionally, Mike has contributed to other industries as well, including their role as a Project Engineer at Honeybee Robotics from December 2006 to November 2010. Mike also co-founded and worked as a Business Development professional at United States Professional Mahjong League from an unspecified start date to September 2010.

Outside of their professional work, Mike has volunteered at RockPaperRobot in March 2010.

Mike Sudano completed their education with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Robotics and Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Mike attended the institution from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they received their High School Diploma from Staten Island Technical High School in 2001. Mike then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, attending from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Mike obtained a certification in Product Management Essentials from Coursera in June 2023.
