Yuya Mochimaru

Yuya Mochimaru is an experienced MLOps and DevOps Engineer currently working at Woven Planet since October 2022, addressing large-scale challenges in machine learning workflows and implementing scalable pipelines on AWS. Prior to this role, Yuya served as an AI Engineer at Neural Pocket Inc. from July 2021 to September 2022, where responsibilities included developing object detection models and enhancing inventory management systems. Earlier experience includes a position as a Data Scientist at Accenture, developing forecasting models and image processing packages, and a research internship at Fraunhofer IISB focused on silicon carbide characterization. Yuya also completed internships at NRI, JAXA, and Cyphertec, gaining skills in system development and wireless sensor networks. Yuya holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Nanotechnology, respectively, from Tohoku University.
