Dimas Gimeno Alvarez

Dimas Gimeno Álvarez is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the retail sector. Currently serving as President and CEO of WOW concept since January 2021 and as Founder and CEO of Kapita since January 2019, Dimas has a proven track record in strategic leadership. Prior roles include President and CEO of El Corte Inglés, where Dimas developed the company's 2016-2021 strategic plan aimed at enhancing its market position and digital transformation. Dimas also held various positions at El Corte Inglés, including General Manager and Sales and Marketing Director, with significant contributions to logistics redesign and cost reduction. Dimas's earlier career included opening the successful El Corte Inglés location in Porto, and foundational roles at the company's Portuguese subsidiary. Dimas holds a Law degree and a Master of Private Law from Universidad CEU San Pablo, along with an EMBA from AESE Business School.
