Diego Hernán Fernández del Prado Cabello

Diego Hernán Fernández del Prado Cabello has worked in various positions in the tech industry since 1999. From 1999 to 2002, they worked at AOL as a 2nd Level Tech Support, responsible for customer support for corporate AOL users, online ticket and phone support, and intranet knowledge base creation. In 2002, they took on a role at Unlugar.com as a Support Officer L2, providing phone and email support of web hosting accounts in Linux and Windows platforms, and cPanel/WHM server management. That same year, they also worked as a Facilities Engineer at Cablevisión - Fibertel, coordinating cable modem installations at the client address and providing post-sale support and coordination with the technical engineer department. From 2003 to 2004, they worked at Electronic Data Systems as a Network Engineer L3, monitoring and supporting LAN airline servers infrastructure at Chilean airports from EDS NOC, and providing remote support and supervision of server clusters in Chile. From 2004 to 2018, they worked at Un@re@ as the Chief Technology Officer, leading support operations, developing web hosting and streaming infrastructure, and setting up datacenter servers. In 2018, they began working at Websavers Inc as a Technical Support Specialist, and at WP Buffs as Central & South America Team Lead, leading a regional team of developers, carrying out weekly 1:1 and bi-weekly calls with the team, and actioning team performance checks and follow-ups. Diego Hernán also held the role of WordPress Engineer, performing WordPress development and site edition, malware removal and follow-up, single site and multi-site management, and speed performance tweaks with WP Rocket and Imagify.

Diego Hernán Fernández del Prado Cabello has a diverse educational background. In 1998, they attended the Universidad Kennedy and studied Economy. In 2004, they attended Linux College and obtained an Advanced Linux Server Security degree as well as a PHP and MySQL programmer degree. In 2005, they obtained a Trade Expert degree from the Instituto Tierra Santa. In 2020, they attended the University of Michigan and obtained a Leading Teams degree in Management. Diego Hernán also attended the International Business Management Institute (IBMI) and obtained a Leadership and Team Development degree. Lastly, they are currently attending the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional and is in the process of obtaining a University Degree in Leadership and Management Skills. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Linux College and the Linux Professional Institute.
