Jared Sakamoto

Jared Sakamoto has a diverse work experience beginning in 2011 with Gap Inc./ Banana Republic as a Sales Specialist. In 2012, they worked as a Teller at Bank of America. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at FARMIGO in various roles, including Inventory Lead, Lead Receiver, and Operations Associate. Lastly, from 2016 to present, they have been an E-Commerce and Inventory Specialist and Office and Jewelry Administrator at WP Diamonds. In these roles, they have managed, prepared, and fulfilled online orders, maintained a detailed intake and outgoing inventory process flow, processed new and sold inventory, updated jewelry and watch specifications, coordinated the placement of new inventory in strategic locations along a pick line, devised a back-stocking strategy for incoming inventory, championed the receiving process from the ground up, identified and managed pain points in the receiving process, collaborated cross-functionally to drive an efficient warehouse operation, prepped, packed, and shipped customers' orders, performed quality control checks on outgoing inventory, and generated weekly cycle counts of on-hand inventory.

Jared Sakamoto holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the University of Hawai’i - Shidler College of Business. Jared also attended The Chinese University of Hong Kong for their International Summer School Program in Business Policy and Strategy. Additionally, they have completed a Google IT Support Professional Certificate from Coursera in May 2020. Jared also has experience at the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business.
