Hitesh Patel

Hitesh Patel is the Co-Founder and Director of Engineering at WPG Consulting. Hitesh has over fifteen years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specializing in network and telephony engineering.

Patel began their career as a Network & Telephony Engineer (Tier 4) at Avaya in February 2005. Hitesh quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to Sr. Network Consultant at NEC Corporation of America just three years later. In January 2009, they joined CDW as a Sr. Consulting Engineer and was responsible for designing and implementing complex enterprise network and telephony solutions.

In March 2011, Patel was recruited by Universal E-Business Solutions as their VP of Professional Services. In this role, they oversaw the delivery of all professional services projects, ensuring that they met or exceeded customer expectations. Patel left Universal E-Business Solutions in February 2014 to co-found WPG Consulting, LLC.

At WPG Consulting, Patel provides expert guidance to clients on a wide range of telecom-related topics, including VoIP, SIP trunking, cloud communications, and more. Hitesh has helped numerous companies transition to cloud-based telephony solutions and is considered a thought leader in the industry.

Hitesh Patel attended the University of London, where they obtained a certification in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Architect. Hitesh also holds certifications from Palo Alto Networks in PCNSE and from Cisco in CCIE Collaboration and CCIE Routing & Switching.

Their manager is Francis X Walsh, Founding Partner.
