WPGA Tour of Australasia
Karen Lunn serves as the Chair of the Australian Golf Industry Council since January 2023 and has been the Chief Executive Officer of the WPGA Tour of Australasia since September 2013, overseeing the day-to-day management of the organization. Previously, Karen Lunn held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Australian Ladies Professional Golf from September 2013 to November 2020. An accomplished professional golfer, Karen Lunn competed on the Ladies European Tour from March 1985 to August 2013 and was also a member of the Ladies Professional Golf Association from January 1994 to December 2002. Karen Lunn completed education at Cowra High School from 1978 to 1984.

WPGA Tour of Australasia
Established in 1972, the WPGA Tour of Australasia, previously known as The ALPG Tour is one of seven major international women’s golf tours recognised by the Rolex World Rankings.. This member-based organisation has seen significant growth in membership over the past decade and now has a current membership of over 300, with a large percentage of those being international touring professionals. The WPGA Tour passionately endeavours to create and enhance playing opportunities within our region, as well as providing other opportunities for members within the golf industry. As the sanctioning body for professional women’s golf within Australasia, the WPGA Tour tournament schedule boasts world-class tournaments co-sanctioned with the US LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour including the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open and the Australian Ladies Classic Bonville. The WPGA Tour has partnered with the PGA of Australia to run a series of tournaments named “The Players Series” and also hosts a number of Pro-Am events throughout the year, where our Australian based members compete alongside our international members. In addition to our Tournament Schedule, the WPGA Tour works alongside the PGA of Australia to host a series of National Women’s Clinics throughout the year, which provides a platform for female teaching professionals to showcase their skills,.
