Christina Boomer Vazquez, M.S., is a seasoned broadcast field journalist with extensive experience in investigative reporting and media education. Currently serving as a Broadcast Field Journalist at WPLG since November 2019, Christina is also an instructor at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. As the founder of Boomer Global Communications, Christina specializes in strategic engagement workshops focusing on media literacy and storytelling. Prior roles include being a member of the executive team at the Pérez Art Museum Miami, where Christina advanced digital innovation, and an investigative reporter at WPLG, where the Emmy-award winning segment 'Call Christina' was created. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Communications from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Boston College.
