Steve Ellis

Steve Ellis has over three decades of experience in the broadcasting engineering field, currently serving as the Assistant Chief Engineer at WPLG since August 2000. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Chief Engineer at WBZL from August 1994 to August 2000 and has extensive experience with Tribune Broadcasting Company as Chief Engineer for WBZL during the same time frame. Steve began a career in engineering as a Broadcast Maintenance Engineer at WPLG from August 1988 to August 1994 and as a Maintenance Engineer at Grant Broadcasting - WBFS from 1984 to 1988. Steve holds a degree from Temple University, having studied from 1972 to 1977.
