Tyrah S.

Tyrah S. is an accomplished associate producer currently at WPLG since August 2023, previously serving as a writer for WSVN-TV 7News from February 2022 to July 2023. Tyrah S. has also contributed as a script reader for the Big Apple Film Festival and as a production assistant at R&R Film Studios. Experience includes a development internship at Movikarma, a Disney On The Yard mentee role at The Walt Disney Company, and an archives internship focusing on the Black Fire Documentary. Additional training includes participation in a virtual program by Endeavor, aimed at aspiring entertainment professionals. Tyrah S. holds a degree from Howard University, with prior education at Hialeah Senior High School.
