Ileana Tomescu

Ileana Tomescu is an accomplished professional in the media and advertising industry with extensive experience in client service, project management, and business development. Currently serving as SEE Cluster Lead at WPP OpenMind since December 2023, Ileana oversees the Nestle Account and coordinates a multi-national team across 11 countries. Previously, Ileana held the position of Client Service Lead at EssenceMediacom Romania, where responsibilities included managing client relationships and enhancing agency capabilities. Ileana's earlier experience includes leading the P&G N&C SEE Cluster at MediaCom, managing a media agency as Managing Director of IPG Mediabrands BPN, and serving as Deputy Managing Director at Initiative Romania. Educational background includes a Professional Diploma in Management from The Open University Business School Bucharest and an Engineer's Degree from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
