James Adebayo

James Adebayo is a seasoned financial professional with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting. Currently serving as a Financial Analyst at WPP since April 2019, James manages the IFRS 16 Lease Accounting process and maintains consolidated lease amortization schedules while conducting thorough financial due diligence for acquisitions. Previously, James held roles such as Senior Accountant at Artivest, where oversight of daily financial operations for the holding company and subsidiaries was a key responsibility. In earlier positions, James served as a Budget/Project Accountant at Alfa Environment Services, focusing on financial analysis and reporting, and as a General Ledger Accountant at British American Tobacco, managing month-end and year-end closing processes across various legal entities.
