Maura Cardani

Maura Cardani serves as the Associate General Counsel for Commercial Legal and Business Affairs at WPP since April 2021. Previously, Cardani held the position of Associate General Counsel at Interpublic Group from April 2016 to April 2021, where responsibilities included leading legal initiatives for R/GA Media Group, Inc. and advising on strategies to enhance risk management and operational performance. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Counsel at Publicis Groupe, focusing on digital advertising for agencies MRY and Big Fuel, and as an Associate at Venable LLP, where guidance was provided on compliance with advertising regulations and consumer protection issues. Maura Cardani holds a law degree from New York Law School and a degree from the University of Pittsburgh's Honors College, graduating Magna Cum Laude and being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa for studies in the History of Art and Architecture.
