Matt Barnes is an experienced news producer with a substantial background in both television news and marketing. Currently employed as a News Producer at WPTV since September 2022, Barnes has previously held similar roles at WPLG and Sinclair Broadcast Group, where responsibilities included generating content for newscasts and producing special segments. In addition to news production, Barnes has a background in marketing and digital design, having worked at Platinum Graphics and Clear Channel Radio, where marketing campaigns and branding strategies were developed. Educational credentials were obtained from Thomas Edison State University between 2005 and 2007.
