Wendie Thomason is an experienced broadcast professional currently serving as the Nightside Executive Producer at WPTV since August 2021. Prior to this role, Thomason worked as a News Producer at WFOR | CBS Miami from May 2019 to July 2021 and held similar positions at WPEC from November 2012 to April 2019, KDAF from June 2012 to November 2012, and WAVY-TV 10 from December 2010 to June 2012. Thomason's career began at WNEM TV5- MY5 Meredith Corp, where the role of News Producer was held from January 2008 to November 2009, and included experience as a News Writer at FOX 2 Detroit from December 2006 to December 2008. An alumna of Western Michigan University, Thomason earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication and Business.
