Ador Torneo

Ador Torneo serves as the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at De La Salle University since August 2013, overseeing a significant academic body of over 6,000 students and nearly 400 faculty members across various departments. Ador Torneo holds multiple roles, including Full Professor in the Political Science and Development Studies Department, Director of the Jesse M. Robredo Institute of Governance, and Editor in Chief of the Asia-Pacific Social Science Review. Ador Torneo's extensive experience includes serving as a Senior Fellow at several institutions, including the Philippine Public Safety College and the Development Academy of the Philippines, and engaging as a Fellow with Social Weather Stations and Pulse Asia Research, Inc. Ador Torneo completed a Ph.D. in Public Administration at Konkuk University, supplemented by advanced studies in political science methods at the National University of Singapore and various qualifications in public administration from the University of the Philippines.
