Aaron Sutherlin

Aaron Sutherlin, PE, currently serves as the Director of Project Delivery and Riverscapes and Shorelines Team Leader at WRA, Inc. since August 2023. Prior to this role, Aaron was the Vice President and Director of Water Resources at Matrix Design Group, Inc. from February 2016 to August 2023, where responsibilities included providing water resources engineering consulting services and leading a multi-disciplinary team. Aaron's earlier experience at Ducks Unlimited, Inc. from July 2002 to February 2016 included positions as Regional Engineer, Senior Project Manager, and Deputy Director in Water Resources, overseeing engineering design and project implementation for habitat conservation projects. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University, a Graduate Certificate in Stream Restoration from the University of Washington, and is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
