Diana Alston

Diana Alston has extensive experience in the broadcasting industry, currently serving as a Broadcast Designer at WRAL-TV since December 1994, where responsibilities include the design and execution of graphic elements for newscasts. Prior roles at WRAL-TV include Senior Chyron Infinit! / Duet Operator, overseeing chyron operations and managing a team, and Chyron Infinit! Operator, collaborating with producers on graphics for live broadcasts, including notable events such as the first High Definition college football game. Additional experience includes freelancing as a Graphics Operator for major sports networks, serving as a Production Assistant at the NC Agency for Public Telecommunications, and working in production at Kaleidoscope Video Magazine. Alston began a career in journalism as a News Anchor/Writer at WUAG Radio Station and holds a BA in Media Studies with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
