Matt Thornton

Matt Thornton has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Matt most recently worked as a Regional Sales Manager at WRAP, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Channel Account Manager for Gulf states, specializing in Video Security & Analytics, at Motorola Solutions from March 2021 to November 2022. Before that, Matt worked as a Territory Manager at Armor Express from August 2019 to January 2021, and as a Territory Manager at 5.11 Tactical from October 2017 to August 2019. Matt also gained experience as a Territory Sales Manager at YETI Coolers from February 2016 to October 2017 and as a Territory Manager at ZYLERA PHARMA CORP from November 2014 to January 2016. In addition, Matt worked as an Allergy and Otolaryngology Rep at Alcon, A Novartis Division from May 2010 to May 2013, as a Major Accounts District Manager at ADP from May 2009 to April 2010, as a Major Account Executive at IKON Office Solutions from March 2006 to October 2008, and as an Investigator at the MS Board of Nursing from September 2005 to March 2006.

Matt Thornton attended Belhaven University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA). Matt also completed the Honor Guard Camp class 04-03 at Goshen Indiana Police Dept. Furthermore, they pursued additional education at Louisiana State University, specializing in the field of Weapons of Mass Destruction Tactical Commander Course under the Department of Homeland Security. Matt received training at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy in the Police field as a Squad Leader in Basic Class 197. Matt further enhanced their skills by completing the SWAT Supervision and Command Decision Making Training at the National Tactical Officers Association in Las Vegas, NV. Matt also participated in the Tactical Rifle Operator Course at the North MS Law Enforcement Training Academy. Additionally, they received training in Interview and Interrogation at the Regional Counterdrug Training Academy, as well as Patrol Officers Response to Street Drugs from the Regional Counterdrug Training Academy (RCTA).
