Sarah Chapman is the current Trustee at WRAP and was previously the CEO and Co-founder of Faro Energy. Sarah has also worked as the Chief of Staff at the New Climate Economy Project and Head of Business Development at Climate Bridge.
Sarah has always been passionate about environmentalism and sustainability. This led their to co-found Faro Energy, a company that identifies, develops, and invests in distributed solar energy projects in Latin America. Under Sarah's leadership, Faro Energy became certified B-Corp and issued the first Green Bond for Brazilian solar in 2018.
In 2020, Sarah sold Faro Energy to the Modern Energy Group. Sarah is now using their experience and expertise to help WRAP achieve its mission of creating a world where resources are used sustainably.
Sarah Chapman studied mathematics and theoretical physics at the University of Cambridge, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree. Sarah then went on to complete the Certificate of Advanced Study in Mathematics (Part III) at the University of Cambridge, specializing in fluid dynamics. Finally, Sarah Chapman earned their Master of Mathematics degree from the University of Cambridge, also specializing in fluid dynamics.
