Imad Ahmed

Imad Ahmed is a seasoned professional in research and development, currently serving as Head of Research & Development at WRc Group since August 2024 and as Founder & Chairman of Nanolyse Technologies Ltd since June 2020. As a Visiting Professor & Mentor at the University of Oxford's Department of Earth Sciences, Imad also actively contributes to various advisory roles, including membership in the NERC Freshwater Quality Programme Advisory Group and the NERC Advisory Network. Imad held previous positions such as Head of Partnerships & Funding at UK Water Industry Research, Senior Innovation Research Fellow, and Lecturer at the University of Oxford, where significant advancements in nanotechnology and environmental science were achieved. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Nottingham and a degree from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford focused on Ideas 2 Impact.
